Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains what information PsychologyForge collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

If you create an account, we store your email address, an optional display name, and a securely hashed password (never the password itself). When you save a test result, mood entry, or journal note, we store that content linked to your account or to an anonymous browser identifier.

How we use it

To provide the service: authenticate you, show your saved results and history, and operate the site. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and local storage

We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and browser local storage to remember your theme and an anonymous session id for saving results. We do not use advertising cookies. If website analytics is enabled, it is described here before activation.

Third parties

Content you generate in the admin area may be processed by the configured AI provider; this does not include visitor personal data. The site is self-hosted; hosting and infrastructure providers process data on our behalf under their terms.

Data retention

We keep account data while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated results at any time (see Contact).

Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, 152-FZ in Russia), you may access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

PsychologyForge is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
